Wave of Audi S models for SA
Audi South Africa plans to have a total of 13 S models for fans to choose from by the end of 2014.
Immediately available are the 206kW/380Nm S3 Sportback and the 230kW/650Nm S Q5 models, priced at R500 000 and R794 500, respectively. Topcar will be driving those at their media launch next week; look out for our driving impressions thereafter.
Also available to order is the S3 Sedan, which will complete the A3 Sedan range when it is introduced here in May 2014.
Likely to pique Audi fans’ interests is the impending launch of the 200kW Audi TTS Special Edition. Of the 500 produced, only 25 are intended for South Africa. The limited TTS will only be available in Imola Yellow or Nimbus Grey, with grey leather upholstery and yellow stitching.
Following the TTS’s second-quarter launch, the facelifted S8 will also be introduced, followed by the new S1 and – for the first time – the S3 Cabriolet towards the end of 2014.
