Toyota Hilux Dakar Edition
Toyota has launched a limited edition version of its Hilux to celebrate the bakkie’s top performance in the 2013 Dakar Rally.
Available from July to September 2013 only, the Dakar package is available on Raider grade models only on single, Xtra and double cab body types.
In addition to what’s offered on the Raider spec models, the Dakar Edition comes with stainless steel nudge bar, styling bar and side steps all bearing the Dakar logo a black tonneau cover, Dakar tailgate badge and smokey grey alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, black leather seat upholstery and door inserts are finished with red stitching, there’s red Dakar embroidery and borders on the black carpet set and the Xtra and double cabs have a reverse camera.
