We must be one of the more favoured colonies as it arrives here some four months before the model even reaches the North American market. Don’t expect to see too many on our roads though as only 8 examples are currently en route. The local agents are taking orders though so the discerning investor still has a chance of securing one.

Officially dubbed 200EX this model will be known more romantically as the Ghost, a more compact sibling to the imposing Phantom. Size is a relative thing and despite being some 44cm shorter than its elder the Ghost is by no means small. Performance suggests plenty of vigour in the trouser department too. With almost 420kw on hand from the mighty 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12, 0-100Kph will be crushed in 4.7 seconds while top speed is limited to 250 km/h .The Ghost would easily surpass that mark were it not for the electronic nanny restraining your uncouth behaviour.

International road tests have already confirmed that handling and ride comfort are superb and that the svelte limo has credible sporting pretentions. You may want to send your chauffeur on a few weeks leave when yours arrives. What impresses when taking a closer look at the car is the level of fit, finish and quality of the interior. The technology is thoroughly modern with many of the electronics shared with BMW’s new 7 series. But in the Rolls they are executed with an exquisite and simple old world feel, there is no danger of confusing the Ghost with the Bavarian.

The Ghost seems to have more harmonious proportions than the Phantom and consequently it loses a little presence by comparison, which is probably not a bad thing in the current economic climate. It is elegant to look at without being ostentatious and as such, probably just the thing to help Rolls Royce enter a more environmentally responsible and financially prudent era.
Speaking of financial prudence, you may wish to know how much it costs. Well if you have to ask...

By the grace of God, I will take plessure in driving it, very soon though.
It is a nice car, a must have.
I think she is definatelly
I think she is definatelly more beautiful than the Phantom. One day in the near future, I'll have the pleasure of driving it.

Massive car
I saw one just out of the desert in Botswana... and a Merc SLS.. for a small country it sure got cars...
nice pics
Great pics of the interior. That is what you called luxury. Definitely one of the most comfortable seats in a car that most people desire. I'm quite sure that most of it's car parts are really the best quality you can ever have that's why rolls royce prices are above hundred thousand of dollars.
This car is for the ultra
This car is for the ultra rich (billions or hundred millions) wanna-be of the moderately rich (millions) to buy. Look at its tail pipe, you can see that it's tucked away in a very crude manner. This does not look like a re-designed car, it looks like an expensive car with major cut backs. Car repair costs would be a fortune.
Price
Rolls have informed me that the price is "ïn the neighbourhood of R4.1 Million". There is no exact figure since Rolls Royce's are generally built to order and the price will vary on the spec. Exchange rate fluctuations also play a part. So place your order and let me know please!

What a car!
I had the pleasure of actually spotting one in Sandton this past Monday. It is in my opinion, the most beautiful Rolls to ever reach the street. This is a serious threat to the Bentley stable!
Any idea on price, anybody?
price
probably close to phantom and flying spur - around R4m?
Best big car!
A real luxury cruzing roads! Best big car.

In my opinion the Ghost is, without doubt, the finest motor vehicle the world has ever seen.
