Renault's first Wind was a convertible concept car shown back in 2004. Their second 'Wind' is a new production ready coupé-roadster. The 3.8 metre, Twingo-based two-seater will be presented at the Geneva motor show in early March. Apart from distinctive front end styling, the main feature is a pivoting roof, similar to the Fioravanti design found on Ferrari's 575M Superamerica. Unlike the Ferrari top, that rested on top of the bootlid pooling water, the Wind's roof hides below deck. The electric mechanism takes just 12 seconds to open and closes again with no affect on the 270dm3 of boot space.
