Audi’s R8 signature model has undergone a metamorphosis into a proper GT3 racing machine at the hands of Audi Motorsport. The R8 Evolution as it is called will be ready for delivery to teams before the start of this year’s endurance season.
Amongst other races this year, the R8 will see time at the prestigious Nürburgring 24 hours as well as the 24 hours at Spa-Francorchamps. The R8 knows its way around a circuit, having taken part in the 2009 season in the GT3 class. This year it promises to be even better as significant changes have been made to the car.
The updates include a bigger capacity cooling system, revised chassis and suspension components, race optimised exhaust and electronics, plus a new six-speed transmission.
Even at a converted price of R2.9 million this promises to be a lot of race car, considering a standard R8 doesn’t leave much change from R2 million. But don’t get your hopes up as Audi has already sold the 20 cars made for the 2010 season.

nice transformation! maybe a good Auto repair is the key to this. The updates include a bigger capacity cooling system, revised chassis and suspension components of the repair.
