MX-5 goes Superlight

In celebrating twenty very successful years of the MX-5 roadster, Mazda will be presenting a ‘Superlight’ concept version of its best-selling two-seater at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Mazda haven’t released any technical info, but from the two official images, it’s clear that, apart from the missing windscreen, most of the mass-reducing redesign has gone into the interior. All will be revealed come mid-September.

MX-5 goes Superlight

Sexy, really sexy - hopefully with a powerplant to match the looks and two custom crash helmets for the adventurous owners.
