My TopCar Ferrari Experience

I just wanted to share of what a great experience I had at the recent Gauteng Motorshow .

Best of all , the Forza Racing Ferrari's were the highlight of the day for me. To be honest, it was not a highlight , rather it was a dream come true .. eversince i can remember as a little boy (probably every boy's dream) my dream was to have a spin inside a ferrari. I bet i sound like a little boy right now :)

Anyways back to reality , after waiting for about 45 minutes and then being told the next session was already full , and this happened twice.

So my last hope was for the 14:00 session. But I had to wait 3 hours to secure my place for that session.

After standing around in front of the queue, chatting with the other guys also desperate to have a spin in the ferrari... I was already doubting if i should wait for another 2 and half hours..

Then out of the blue, as i was reaching foward to grab a chair to sit on , an official came sneaking in from the side of the tent, and called me over and told me to follow her telling me something about a spot opened up.

Totally bewildered , the next thing I know I have a helmet on my head , and being rushed and told to get into the Ferrari ,hitting my head several against the roll-cage, i'm being strapped in by official, Then only it really dawned on me, this is it... i'm inside a full race spec Ferrari F360 Challenge , and we are about to go around the track, but I wasn't sure what to expect ...
Luckily I remembered that i wanted to catch this on film, and i asked the driver if i could take a video clip with my iPhone.

But it was only when we entered the track and when the driver Cindy Evans hit that first straight with such full force acceleration like a kamikaze fighter pilot aiming at its target , thats when I very quickly realised, this is seriously quick , and I better hold on...

And what a adrenalin rush it was!!
