IS ALFA ROMEO GOING TO DIE?

Things are not looking good for the Italian brand, once known for building brilliant  and beautiful drivers cars, Alfa has become known more for poor management. dire aftersales service, and continuous quality and reliability issues. Despite the relative success of the Mito(not one of their best designs) Alfa bosses say the new Giulietta is the make or break model.Sergio marchionne Alfas boss earlier this year placed the brand on "probation" and the future of the brand will be decided at a board meeting in april. Should the new Giulietta fail to revive flagging sales(alfa only sold 103 000 cars worldwide last year) it will be the last new Alfa. that would be tragic, Alfa is still a leader in terms of car designs, the 159, Brera, and the gorgeous 8C  testify to that. if only there engineers were on the same page... The 159 and Brera in particular have been slatted for their excessive weight and which results in poor performance and fuel economy, while chassis dynamics are no better than average. i just hope the new Giulietta can change Alfas fortunes. it will be sad if this once great brand ceases to exist.

ALFA IS ALIVE AND WELL

This great marque will never die! Alfa sales are high in Europe, its major market. The Mito is a smashing hit and the new giulietta will be too. Long live the most charimatic and be loved marque ever!!!

Nervous times

As a 156 driver, it is so sad to see the state of Alfa. The 156 is phenomenal, but the 159 family could not be slower and more boring to drive. Please let there be a Giulietta GTA, or the brand will die...and that 1750 is not going to be quick enough, Alfa need a 5,5s 0-100 car, urgently
